new graphics card problem

I used to have a 1080, which had a HDMI slot and a DVI slot, which was great for my Rift and my monitor.
I just upgraded my card and now have just one HDMI slot. Where do I put my monitor and VR headset?

Are you sure there's only 1 HDMI and nothing else? Doesn't sound feasible to me. What card is it?

Most current nvidia gpu's only come with 1x hdmi and 3x DisplayPorts.  I think there are a few rtx3080's that have dual hdmi.

If you need to use your hdmi for your Rift cv1 then you will need a DP capable monitor.  Pretty well most gaming monitors are DP these days, or like mine, do both.  I'm not sure but you may be able to get a DP/hdmi and/ore DP/DVI adapter but I'm not sure how well these work.  Good luck mate.

Custom built gaming desktop; i9 9900k (water cooled) oc to 5ghz, gtx 1080 ti, 32 gb 3000hz ram, 1 tb ssd, 4 tb hdd.  Asus  ROG Maximus xi hero wifi mb, StarTech 4 port/4 controller sata powered usb3.0 pcie card, PCI-E PCI Express to USB 3.1 Gen 2 card, Asus VG248QE 1080p 144hz gaming monitor, Oculus Rift cv1 w/2x sensors, Vive Pro w/2.0 base stations/controllers, Quest 1 w/Link and VD wireless (good/close 5Ghz wifi and PC with Ethernet cable to my Router).
