what is the storage for? would 64 GB be sufficient or is the 256 needed? (I would rather save $100 but if he will run out of space for whatever he would need it for I would rather get the bigger one)
They always make a bigger one because they know that many will buy it even if they don't need it. Also they will pay a premium for it. Remember too, that if you have a PC capable of running VR, you have access to better games/apps and as much storage as you want.
i5 6600k - GTX1060 - 8GB RAM - Rift CV1 + 3 Sensors - 1 minor problem Dear Oculus, If it ain't broke, don't fix it, please.
I don't know if quest 2 games are a larger download but I've had my quest 1 since February. With all the games I've purchased and downloaded including sideloading from sidequest I've never used more than 20 GB total.
