Unable to complete purchase for 'Virtual Desktop' from Oculus Store (Quest 2)

Anyone else not able to buy 'Virtual Desktop'?
Could it be because my account / Quest 2 device has switched to 'developer' mode for sideloading?
All other purchases go through fine, but for this I get:

An error has occurred.
There was a problem with processing your order. Please try again later.

I've opened a query with Oculus Support and will update this if they can explain.

developer mode won't impact your ability to buy virtual desktop.

Check your funding methods or just retry.  Also make sure your buying the correct version virtual desktop its best just to purchase off the mobile app.

Thanks for your response! The payment method has cleared for other purchases, funding has been confirmed, and purchase attempts were made through the mobile app linked to the device, and through the device itself on the 9th and 14th of this month.

I hope I'm missing something obvious, but it isn't that. Ta though.

I actually hadn't thought of that (at the time I was looking to use the WELCOME25 code which doesn't work on desktop).

Yep, other purchases are fine, and have tried changing payment method.

Hope Oculus support can reveal what error 1891489 means. Google has zero hits.

Unfortunately no luck there either.
After 6 days confirming my identity with Oculus Support, they've suggested that I... try a different payment method. I already told them I've tried.

Now just asking what Error 1891489 means.

I have exactly the same problem after trying to buy Ultrawings using Welcome25 promo code.
Now I have tried everything to buy this game again and nothing works.
I assume the use of the promo code welcome25 has caused something in the database.
Has everyone had the error happen after the use of welcome25?
What is interesting I used welcome25 on another purchase after the ultrawings purchase did not work.
I am waiting for support as well.
I will post if they or I have any breakthroughs.

My error first appeared after using the Welcome25 code, as well. Good call.

Out of curiosity, did the promo code give you the correct price? I tried to use it to purchase Eleven from my oculus mobile app, and it shows the discounted price there, but still tries to charge the full price from my bank account.

From the web based oculus store I couldn't get pass the purchase confirm window, as the pop up window says "content blocked". Tried that way after I was given the wrong price on the mobile app. Tried with two different browsers, too.

After 15 messages from Andrew, AlexanderTS, ShielaG, Heather, IanE at customer support, the ticket was finally escalated to Lena at Facebook AR/VR Customer Support...

Anyone else been able to buy the Welcome25-cursed apps yet, or worked out what error 1891489 means?

I had a similar issue when trying to buy a game using the WELCOME25 promo code. After different tries, the only thing that worked was switching the payment to PayPal. I think the problem was due to the 2-factor authentication requested by my bank. I hope it helps!
