Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR :)

Extremely curious what this pertains to and what kind of performance increase we're talking about. It's exciting to think that DK2 could have further decreased lag and offer more VR comfort.

Could it possibly resolve reported issues with judder as well?

I'm happy with performance as it is, any future improvements will be a welcome bonus.

I am always amazed what can be achieved with software design alone and wonder what is in store even before CV1 is launched.

Could be this guy, on the Oculus People page:

    Christopher Taylor - Engineer

Chris has been writing software since he was building wooden block forts, initially in adorable flavors of BASIC.

So true. Just take a look at the massively diverse apps, demos and games which will be available for the DK2 in 1 months time.

Throw in some more money and time to those apps, increase the quality and refinement of every aspect of the Rift (CV1) and you have something we've only been able to dream of for many years.

It can now display the frame before it's even rendered out.

I guess with all that brain power it was only a matter of time before some ridiculous algorithms started making their way into the SDKs.
