Will the next GearVR have positional tracking?
Will it support 90 - 180deg FOV?
Will it allow to attach two galaxy s7 as screens?

Or will the GearVR host additional hardware, like additional cameras or sdcard to be mounter over USB?

Probably none of that. Just USB-C to be compatible with Note 7.

Old news. Also, they had Rink and Entrim 4D headphones shown, and yet no news about that.

I am sure we won't see anything new coming for Gear VR, not even for S8.

Maybe some battery improvements and positional tracking, 4k maybe?  Two of those - take your pick.
Big PC, all the headsets, now using Quest 3

But none of that is related to the HMD (except maybe positional tracking, should they add such module into HMD itself).

Maybe you won't need a phone?  Maybe the computing will be in the headset?

That would be nice, especially if there is still partnership between Oculus and Samsung on such standalone untethered HMD.
