If you have high end hardware, you can crank settings namely pixel density and ASW will pick up the slack. Even a 1080 isn't good enough to keep 90fps with 2.0 pixel density in most cases.

This seems like it's only to lower the cost of entry by allowing lower spec hardware to run. I would think most of us here are here because we already have high-spec systems. I guess it's good for everyone else who hasn't been able to afford Rift yet and want one.

It is very worth it, if you can't keep 90fps. The blurriness of most games is mitigated to a fairly large degree with pixel density.

I guess it's not for me then. My visuals have been buttery smooth in every app so far and I max the settings. My specs are:
CyberPowerPC, Gamer Panzer Liquid Cooled Desktop
MSI Z170A PC Mate
Intel 6th Gen i7-6700K
32GB DDR4 SDRAM, 3000 Mhz
240GB SSD and 2TB HDD
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080
Windows 10 Pro. Maybe I haven't tried the most demanding games or something. But I'm glad this is great for everyone else.

Has anyone here updated to 1.10? I've yet to here any reports of confirmed 1.10 and asw support.
