Black screen in CV1

I bought the CV1. In the installation after: Set your view in VR (Continue in your headset) I put it on and it is black. I hear the sound, but doesn't see anything.
I tried to reinstall it a couple of time.
The DK2 worked fine for me. Never had problems.

I have a asus r9 295x2(4 mini displayports and 1 dvi-d) 3 Monitors on 3 mini displayports and the rift is now on the 4th minidisplay port with an adapter (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/club-3d-aktiver-mini-displayport-zu-hdmi-15cm-data-video-adapter-5640004)...also tried a dvi-d -> hdmi adapter.

My motherboard is a bit older: ASUS P6T SE...so I have USB 2.0.
Windows 7 64 bit.
The light in the rift is now orange (not blinking). But it also was white (also not blinking).

You might want to have a look here as well. No solution but some more information what might cause the issue.

Hi,
i had 6 days setting up my rift, it can be frustrating.....
complete reinstall  new windows via the USB tool.
important if on USB set up via bios to use USA keyboard language etc.....
install rift setup on separate hdd or ssd, not your 120gb ssd with windows on, the rift can take a lot of space.
ensure no yellow ! On any devices USB bus or lan controllers in device manger via settings, rift can cause problems with power switching on the USB drivers.
dont install over wifi, ensure lan...
connect devices but your monitor must be connected to your motherboard and rift to gpu, do not install any additional programs and games before set up of rift on your new system..

worked for me.
any questions ask.

Following this new installation you should be able to connect your other monitors etc,
i did lose all my saved docs etc and games, but a pre save of important stuff on portable hdd should suffice?
new oculus equal complete new software build with quirks along the way...
i think many blokes are facing similar divorce inducing oculus problems lol
good luck and keep us posted as not much support at the moment

Looking back on the thread you will need USB 3 pci for your mb I think,
and if your running multiple monitors the rift needs 90fps which will seriously melt your gpu with multiple displays as it is.
i stripped to basic and will gradually build back up, with many a blue screen along the way I suspect......
but if you splashed out then persevere b'cos it is worth it in the end......

It finally works 🙂

The USB-Port was corrupted...so I deinstalled it.

I had a old motherboard/cpu so I orded some new stuff:

Motherboard: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/asus-maximus-viii-hero-lga-1151-intel-z170-atx-mainboard-5342740
CPU: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/intel-core-i7-7700k-box-lga-1151-420ghz-unlocked-prozessor-6031305

Tried to install everything and failed. There was just black screen on my normal monitor. I had do a usb flashback : https://rog.asus.com/technology/rog-motherboard-innovations/usb-bios-flashback/

After that my motherboard started working.

My Oculus still had blackscreen...

I have an ASUS R9 295X2 and for the oculus I had to order this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DUTIYOC/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Now it works...
