The moon landing happened on my parents' first wedding anniversary. I suspect I was named after Neil Armstrong (the name Neil enjoyed a surge of popularity around that time).
I think Apollo 11 VR was the first thing I bought in the Oculus Store. I would love to see more interactive movie experiences like this. I also invested in Titanic VR on Kickstarter.
This calls for one of my favorite Rush songs: Countdown from the Signals album about the first launch of the Space Shuttle Columbia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Countdown_(Rush_song). Neil Peart (who writes most of the lyrics for Rush) is a US citizen now so it's appropriate.

I think a lot of people don't realize that the SU had a space shuttle program. Some dudes recently filmed some of the abandon shuttles.

That reminds me of Chernobyl VR which incidentally is a highly underrated Oculus app.
