Looks pretty cool for the price...still not sure exactly what all you're going to be able to do with it yet.

That uncontrollable shaking on his monitor is a bit of a put-off though lol.

I'm sure the price is wrong on that Oculus Rift...

Good grief. Call it what it is ffs. It's a VIRTUAL Reality headset, not a MIXED Reality headset. For it to be a Mixed Reality headset it would need both Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality functions in the same device. Fucking Microsoft being tosspots yet again lol

    Great to see this.
    Love the mixed reality ability.
Seeing your chair and your desk with the headset on !
    Looks very futuristic indeed.
Will make every fanboi, Vive, Oculus, Gear  frantic with envy?
Maybe not but the language might be a bit foul :)

Calling it mixed reality and having cameras on the outside is just going to confuse people into thinking there's some form of AR available. But the cameras are angled outwards a bit and are vastly further apart than any human IPD.
Might be ok for a zando-zan though.

The screen shake on the monitor was insane. The in-hmd view didn't seem to look that bad, I'm not sure what's going on. But every hands on I've read has mentioned tracking problems and the MS developer docs list many things that can screw up the mixed reality hmd tracking (like bare white walls or low lighting).

Specs sound interesting, but the tracking is a concern.

    Great find @Shadowmask72 !

Yeah the mixed reality tag is really confusing, even I thought it was going to do VR + AR when I first heard the name and saw the camera on the front. I think they are just trying to avoid comparisons to current VR headsets so they can sell them better.
