How To Fix "Can't Connect. Looks like we can't reach the Oculus server." Error For Good.

FiZiX

FINALLY I found out the solution to the installation error:

"Can't Connect. Looks like we can't reach the Oculus server. Please check your connection." Error while installing "OculusSetup.exe".

Before trying this solution I tried:

-Installing new .netframework update 4.7
-Fully updating windows 7 sp1
-Fully updating graphics drivers.
-Running "OculusSetup.exe" as administrator.
-Disabling windows firewall and avast antivirus.
-Bought a new SSD and copied my drive to it to clear 380gb of space.

NOTHING WORKED !
THEN SOMEONE TRIED THIS FOR ME:

-> First move the "OculusSetup.exe" File to your desktop.
-> Then open command prompt.
-> After opening command prompt type:

C:/Desktop/
OculusSetup.exe /bypassHotfixCheck

And thats it ! FIXED !

Don't forget to put a space between .exe and /bypassHotfixCheck.

Now go and enjoy your fucking rift like you deserve to.

-16gb 2400mhz dual channel Coursair RAM
-Asus Z87-C Motherboard.
-700 watt CoolerMaster power supply.
-Windows 7 home premium SP1 fully updated.
