Looking for a faceplate for Oculus to use with lens inserts

Hello guys,

few months ago I bought this prescription lenses for oculus https://vr-lens.eu/products/oculus-rift-lens-inserts/ to avoid having to use glasses inside the helmet but since then I stumbled on another problem. The space inside the rift is still limited and the lenses touch my nose and get foggy almost immediately, making the experience less blurry but much more uncomfortable.
I am looking for something that adds some serious extra depth/space and that is not crazily expensive. So far I haven't been able to find anything on internet that clearly states it will help with my problem (it's all about extra comfort but not extra space).
I can eventually also build something homemade if anybody can point me to a guide or give me some ideas.
Anybody can help?

Cheers,

I wear glasses under my rift but I use the extended faceplate from vrcover.com.  Check them out!

Thank you for the tip. You mean this one? https://vrcover.com/product/oculus-rift-facial-interface-foam-replacement-basic-set/

Does it add enough extra space? Because it does not mention anything about it in the item description...

Actually I meant the Pro set...which I have found out after I posted that they took that set down for a while.

Apologies.

Perhaps you can contact them and ask them if they can ship you out JUST the eyeglass plate and a cushion.  I would ask for the red one just to make sure its different.

Thank you very much for the reply!
Unfortunately I did that already and they told me that it is not on sale anymore. They also specified that the one available now is identical to the standard one given with the oculus 😞
I guess that I have to find some handmade solutions

Why did VR cover get rid of the thick coverings and now just offer the thin memory foam? Hopfully the thick ones last me while since it looks like they stopped doing them..

Where are you located?

I bought both VR cover faceplates when they were first released, but I never use the extended glasses interface. I use the shorter interface, with the faux leather padding and a lens holder I bought from ebay (3D printed) - it's great, though I do occasionally feel the lens frame on my eyelashes or even my skin - doesn't bother me.

So if you are willing to pay the postage, I could send you the deep interface. I tested it and made a video - it is a bit long and chatty, as it was a spontaneous decision to do a recording and had nothing prepared:

These are the frames I use:
