What extra things do I need to buy to make the rift and touch work with my laptop?

Hey so my laptop has the NVidia gtx 1050 TI graphics card and a intel graphics card. The hdmi adapter connects to the intel and not the nvida so what type of adapter do I need to buy to connect it to my NVidia card?

I think you're out of luck. The HDMI must connect directly to the Nvidia card to work. If there is no connection to your Nvidia card, you can't put an adapter on it.

So that more knowledgeable people can reply, you should probably tell us what your laptop is. It saves lots of guessing.

Dear Oculus, If it ain't broke, don't fix it, please.

does the nvidia card have any video IO? DVI or display port? If so, you may just be able to use an adapter. If no, my guess is you just can't use that laptop.

Rift doesn't work with integrated graphics and that's exactly what your port is connected to inside your laptop.  you'll need a new laptop or desktop to make it work.
