Hello folks, not many people know but you can submit feedback about an issue to Oculus directly from the desktop app. Submitting feedback this way along with system info allows the devs to work quickly to fix bugs or implement features. This goes directly to the team, who might otherwise miss your feedback on the forum.
You can find it in the Help Centre section (Bottom Left Hand Side)
PLEASE NOTE: Feedback is one way only. If you need assistance from the Oculus Support team please use the official support area: https://support.oculus.com/ where you can find guides and a way to submit a support ticket.
Do you have a feature request? Maybe you have a great idea for Home 2.0?Oculus has set up a UserVoice system that lets you submit and vote on ideas from the community.
You can find it here:

But also, if every problem should be sent via system which doesn't even give sender any dev response, why even bother create an entire section in forums named "Support"? Is it because every Oculus user has the little whisper in the head saying that "the problem is mine, i fear to send it to devs (who won't even answer when sent via the tool)"? (Well, there's no response in forums from them, so no difference there
Imo, there's SO many requests about i.e. admin trick to be supported again OR getting a native option to not run Home(2), when using SteamVR, AND stuttering graphics (almost in every feedback) in Home(2) etc etc. that there really is something wrong with the software. And what's the deal with the mandatory Home(2) to be driven, when used SteamVR? The feedback majority on forums (In Oculus's own and i.e. Reddit) clearly states, that it affects performance, so why not give the Rift users option to disable Home(2) running, when not playing games from Oculus library?
And to be clear on this on my side: I would GLADLY run Home(2) same time with SteamVR if they would work better together. But atm those two aren't getting together very well..

When exiting the game , you will see it fill back in.
I may be the only one on the planet that has 0 performance issues playing games with Rift Core 2.0 / Dash. And I play some pretty intensive games like combat flight sims.
Have no idea why I am not having the issues.

All that makes sense, but why do you think some people are experiencing crashes and stutter? There's a few threads popping up about this now especially from sim racers. Would you say that Home 2.0 uses no more resources then the old Oculus Home?
Yeah, "few" threads. And what i read about it, there's even a trend going that the O support says the game or app is faulty, not O's software. Which is quite hilarious (and nihilistic
Edit: added " "few" threads"

Usually there lol
No - I have finished with it - but it means I have to use Touch to get rid of that dialog box and get back to the Home screen - which I don't do, anyway, I just mess around pushing whichever buttons will work on my remote, until I get rid of it.
I don't want to activate my Touch when all I want to do is start a non-Touch VR game, because I will see the Touch controller image in the game, which ruins it.
Either that or stop the Touch image from showing at all, please.
EDIT just tried running fallout 4 in steam vr…… have had to do it 3 times so far.... this is what im talking about. and the wOORST part is now, if I cant run oculus my headset is a brick. now the original oculus software took me and support 2 days and 24 hours to install. imagine if I wasn't a nerd how quick I would have gave up and refunded the oculus. I reinstalled oculus software at least 30 times...… took FOREVER.
Oculus store and demos worked fine. In fact, the tracking never been better!.
But steam is getting a 108. HUH! what gives?
I heard every side of this. this sux, but as of now,
I can't get SteamVR to identify. RAWR!!
And I never been happier! It's alive!
Usually there lol
Can someone who fixed the cpu problems write a solution in this thread:
https://forums.oculusvr.com/community/discussion/71083/cant-install-software-exiting-with-code-18/p1
Actually, we are way more than that ^^. But since the official release of Oculus Core 2.0 (second version of the software), all those who don't like it constantly look for excuses to incriminate it, so the problems seem bigger than what they actually are... It's like they try to prove a point instead of trying to resolve their problem, and that's a pity.
I mean, don't get me wrong, the reaction is normal. Customers who have an issue tend to believe their issue is common when they hear some other people have it as well. Ironically, it often turns out it comes from something else than the update they incriminate.
My point is, many people try to prove that the current software is faulty, simply because they don't like it.
Anyway, it's awesome if the Rift can run on a i3-6xxx ! I had the same CPU on my previous laptop and could run the prototype of the Rift, but the commercial version was a no-go xD.
My hopes for VR next gen:
- Full Body Tracking. Come on, Oculus!
- Eye tracking with foveated rendering. Must reduce the power needs!
- More big-scale games. I need a true VRMMORPG!
- Bigger community.
