Love the Go, but a few things that drive me crazy.
1. NOTHING displays 3D photos, which seems like such an obvious thing.
2. No obvious way to connect the Go to Bluetooth headsets
3. A surprising lack of shared experiences where they're kind of obvious - like Oculus Video can put the user into a movie theatre.... but you can't share that space. Here's an idea: in Oculus Rooms, give us a movie theatre room and if everyone in it has the same file on their Go, sync the video playing and let the users chat. Or let them put the file in a shared DropBox folder and the app can download it and play it that way.
3a. Add an SDK component to make sharing spaces and avatars easy so everyone can build them into their apps.
4. Ok.. I get it, this is Oculus Go by Facebook, but not everyone is hooked into FB or wants to be. Make the FB experiences so great I WANT to use them, not by walling things off so I have to. Oculus Rooms is essentially pointless because of this. Oculus TV is almost as useless.
5. There are a LOT of things that you can't do or do easily, that can be done with an existing Android non-VR app. We need a way to run Android apps in a floating window. Yes, it would be clumsy, but it would be doable. Then we'd get a good YouTube app, for example.
6. Speaking of - the Oculus Browser is pretty terrible. It's like going back in time 6 or 7 years. See #5 and Chrome browsers - get Firefox to make a version for Go.
7. The Go isn't tethered.. which means it's also not always going to be near WiFi either. There should be a push for developers to be more conscious of 'offline' use. It also isn't always used standing up. I love the way you can reorient the system if you move around - but there's no provision for 'using while lying on your back'.. which is a common use case.
8. It really, really needs a better controller. I can live with 3dof for the headset.. but a 6dof controller would be insanely useful.
9. The US is not the world. Once you leave the US, most of the Oculus Venue or TV stuff basically vanishes. FB has to work hard on finding content for the rest of the world.. (or again, see #5)
Stepping back, I think part of the problem is that Oculus can't decide what it's trying to be: a VR system, a social environment, a gaming platform, a media player or a Facebook frontend and so kind of sucks at all of those.
My original take was that the Go was going to be the social/media platform powered by Facebook. Which means media shared between friends who coordinate through Facebook. We use FB to get together, set a time and meet up to hang out to watch what we want to watch from where ever we want to get it. FB just can't compete with YouTube for example.
Don't get me wrong - Go is amazing, especially for what is a first gen concept at such a low price - even with all of its shortfalls for a Canadian user I'm still glad I bought it, but it already makes me want more out of it - and a lot of those things are relatively easy to do in theory, limited mainly by arbitrary design decisions.

A lot has already been said: better browser experience, an option to stream to a 2nd screen, kiosk mode... and I have something to add which I haven't read here yet:- I'd like an option to swipe the words on my keypad. I think I will write faster like that.- I haven't found the option yet, but I'd like to sort my installed apps in foldersThanks in advance!
