Not surprising tbh. They're mid-range headsets after all.

Seems that MS management are concerned that the whole VR side of their WinMR project is floundering - they hired a large number of ex-Oculus staffers to help with the original project and are in the process of now culling the numbers towards finding a core group that can work with the best of the headset developers towards a new release. Information as you would expect is limited, but many are suggesting a Samsung Odyssey style version two system in 12-months.

But in all reality it is the HL2 release that is the key focus of MS' business interests regarding WinMR for the short term - and they are setting their sites on being a ML killer - going to be brutal.

While I posted this data - I am sceptical on its accuracy, as I am with all data research findings - the only real numbers are the ones that the manufacturers are hard against sharing.

I think the HTC numbers are way low, and just from the rough calculation of how many Vives are in circulation just in my sector, we should be seeing a much higher percentage - also remember the HTC has been selling longer than CV1 - while the CV1 has seen an incredible upswing following the price drop.
