Hi! Did you ever buy the cable you linked? I'm looking for a cable as well to be able to wallmount my sensors.

You need an active extender cable like this one from Amazon, i believe.

I think it needs to be able to draw power and keep the voltage constant or something. I use one of those and no problems.

Somewhere here on the forum, I'm sure Cybereality has recommended one

Edit - a search brought this one up:

Buy a uGreen active 5m one.
I got a 5 and a 10m one and they are perfect

There are many others like it, but this is mine.

If you order an extra sensor from Oculus, it comes with a 5m Monoprice Active 2.0 cable, so I guess they are approved and certified OK by Oculus.

Really? That must be new - I didn't get one with my extra sensor 😞

edit: ah - your box etc looks nothing like the one I got (which was direct from Oculus).

Mine was direct from Oculus too, when did you get yours?

Mine was direct from Oculus and came with the cable shown above. I don't use it though, I have all my sensors on USB 3.0, with two of them connected through 5m Cable Creations active USB 3.0 extensions.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

I can't find the receipt just now, but I think it was January this year. That's when I set up my VR room, so it was probably then. I'll let you know when I find the receipt (I always keep them, so I'm mystified why I can't find this one).

Edit: Very weird - it isn't listed in my Oculus account purchase history, either 😕

No - had a good look through and can't find it anywhere. Very puzzled.

We got one sensor with the Rift, right? Did we get a second one included with Touch, when it was sold separately from the Rift? If so, that will explain it.
