Yeah cheers dude , the base was rushed to be honest , I went a bit overkill with the specular setting admittedly , I may go back to it 'cos the youtube video has too much artifact pixelation , so imay as well touch up the sculpt a bit first , needs a x100 on the render quality setting next time .

Something made me keep coming back and looking at this figure, couldn't quite figure out what it was, something dynamic in the way the light was moving across the figure on the turntable. Woke up this morning and looked at again. Realized it was the way the leg was contoured with the garment drapery. The contouring of the fold and the reflectivity balance on it, really has a strong influence on the lighting effect. The balance is really good there, and subtle.
Not sure if you've considered this, since the drawback would probably affect printability, if it's printable (hard to tell) in the video form...
As far as the setting, I like the sheen at the base of the robes, the pooling reflectivity is really good. The updrafts tend to
shift from somewhat of an oil-like substance to a more plasticized look, which is a combination of the materials and lighting. I think it might visually benefit by cloning and separating out that from the stalagmites where the spikes start, so they are two separate layers, or so that there is some contouring between them (laterally and or vertically). I'm pretty sure this will allow you to tweak the materials on the updraft area, improve the visual interplay a bit and get a more organic look to that part of the texture. Obviously, if it breaks the sculpt, then that change might be counter-productive.
Something else, trivial detail, that I picked up on, mostly because of the image its directly underneath. The light sabres don't have any kind of sling or holster. Maybe he's powerful enough that he just calls them to him when needed? Anyhow, doesn't seem to be anywhere to stash them if he actually wants to use his paws for anything other than the pure joy of slicing things with his weapons.
I really like the face, torso, weapons design and that precision linework you do with the belt is cool as always. I can envision that sitting on a store shelf somewhere, very easily.
