So for now I'm stuck on one monitor (which is going to drive me crazy very quickly).

Normally I don't use a monitor, I just turn on the rig - wait a few seconds (to be sure OTT is up and more) - put on Touch and then the Rift  B)

Monitor? - isn't that something Grandma & Grandpa used when they were young?

Found my display port to dvi adapter. Back to two monitors!
I really need to buy a new one or two, but I'm very fussy about monitors.

Plus, in the same mess of cables as the adapter I found a 4.6m (15ft) usb2 extension cable. Where the hell did that come from? I'm sure I've never owned one that long. I wonder if it works with a rift sensor?

Just ordered a Gigabyte GTX 1080ti 11GB card for my new Ryzen build. I haven't spent over $500 on a graphics card since I ordered the Gainward Bliss 7850GS+ from Germany in the final days of AGP. The 7950GT I have in my old legacy PC, is the last Nvidia card I owned. Mostly because Tridef 3D works better with ATI/AMD cards.
Not the best time to have to buy a graphics card. I picked it up refurbished on ebay for $569. Refurbished has always been good to me.

Umart (my preferred store) now has the EVGA 2080TI Black Edition Gaming for $1699au and it's in stock. That's the cheapest 2080TI I can remember seeing in Aus ($400 cheaper than my MSI).

The $1699au would be equivalent to 945 pounds.
I've never heard of a Palit brand gfx card before.
