If you have a Hydra, you can reduce your stress level with some fun pumpkin smashing:

Utterly fantastic! A+++++ would play again and demo to friends. :)

Hydra calibration worked surprisingly well, and even though your instructions didn't specifically mention it, I was pleased to find out I could re-calibrate at any time, not just at the start.

The only reason I needed to re-calibrate was because.... after the initial calibration, I saw your warning about making sure I'm not going to hit anything in real reality (which I REALLY appreciate btw!), then I moved away from my desk more, and found that I needed to recalibrate.

    Thanks for this! :D

EDIT: If i type in "idspispod", will anything happen? :p

It was very freaky when I looked down and saw my arms. I was like, "Holy crap, I'm a skeleton."

I also had an uncontrollable urge to explore the cemetery. I almost ripped my hydra cord apart when I went for an overhead pumpkin that I missed. Did you say pumpkins? They kinda looked like watermelons to me. :)
“My ally is the Force. Life creates it, makes it grow. It’s energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we…not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you. Here, between you, me, the tree, the rock…everywhere!"

Ah, good point, I'll make sure to make the instructions clearer in the next version.

And yes, if you spell "idspispod" with your hands in flag signal language, something amazing happens ;-)
  • Aside from one minor issue. that was a lot of fun, thanks!

    Here is my review:

Thanks for the review! :-) I hope your Hydra base is alright.

I saw that you had your hands quite close to the shoulders when you calibrated the controllers. The upper arms are supposed to go horizontally sidewards and the forearms horizontally 90 degrees to the upper arms forwards. The calibration might have been the reason why your punches didn't feel right at the beginning of your second go. I will add the note that you can always recalibrate to the instructions.
  • It is not the first fall, my hydras are falling apart! lol Had a blast with this though!

Thanks for this game. very fun to play.
Do you plan to make some update ? An endless mode with pumpkins coming continuously would be a good punchbag after a boring day of work.

@mouja: We have just uploaded our update, and the major addition we had been working on happens to be a survival mode :-)

    Download at : http://chromegekko.com/pumpkin-punch/

    Changes in the update:

    - Score, highscore and health are shown on a board on the left
    - The shooting sounds are more distinguishable, so by listening to the shooting "melody" you can prepare for the incoming wave
    - The first level is as before; the second level is a survival mode that increases in difficulty, but has a way of replenishing your health

    Happy punching!

This game is so much fun, and the updates really add to the experience. I flinch at a lot of these fruit coming at me, and I like it. :D
That haunted flying jack-o-lantern sure was scary!

The highest score I could get are 144 for Level 1, and 210 for Level 2.

If you've got a Hydra you definitely need to try this one!

Oh great ! thanks for this update.
On my second try, I scored 802 on level 2. I don't know if it's due to a bug.
