Would a bigger television get me back into Pancake gaming?

I really like VR, but the lack of AAA games is making me feel I also need to get back into pancake gaming. I currently have a 42" television and I'm just wondering if I get a 55" or 65" television, if this will get me more immersed in a game like VR does? Since VR came along I've struggled to get back into 2D gaming and there's some really good pancake games that will never come to VR.

So do you think a lager screen would get me more immersed in a game or not?

Started Metro Last Light yesterday, and played through in to the AM lol

This one is more addicting than the first. I think the story does a great job of keeping me intrigued.

Yessir. I did my homework before buying them. There was a Redux bundle special on Steam. I took advantage!

Give the Metro novel a go too if you are book inclined and are hooked on that world.

Yeah, even though I own both the originals, I bought that redux bundle on offer too. Stupid cheap, so I completed both games a second time.
I'm waiting for an offer on Exodus before I purchase.

I bought Metro Exodus today.
I got it for $79au as a boxed DVD version from a physical store.
If I bought it from the Epic online store, it would have been $91.

Yeah, physical boxed edition cheaper than a digital download.

Yes, superb recommendation! It plays more like a movie than a game, which really helps with the addictive factor. Unlike most games, I don't feel like I'm having to "work" through some game mechanic. I feel like I'm seamlessly progressing through a badass story, which only unfolds if I have enough skill to advance my character.

I will probably buy this for myself either in June or over Christmas. Since it requires a much longer time commitment than the first two games, I will need to focus on it during the only 2 times a year (summer and winter holiday) where I pick a lengthy game to commit to.

In the meantime, I'd love to hear your thoughts on Exodus. I've read reviews online but I'd rather hear your personal take.

Exodus is awesome, arguably the best album that he did:
