"Over the
past year, we’ve had the best time getting hyped up for the game’s launch on
May 14. From our announcement trailer set to the sounds of Andrew W.K., to Danny
Brown’s Open World escapade – ain’t it funny how it happens? Between our
hands-on events around the globe, our reveal of cheat codes making a big
comeback, and so much more, it’s clear the fun is just getting started, with
less than a month to go before our hot pink global takeover.
As we prepare for the insanity, we put together a handy guide with some
important details that should get you up to speed for launch.
GRAPHICS AND FPS
On PlayStation 4 RAGE 2 runs at 1080p with a framerate cap of 30 FPS, and on
Xbox One it runs at 900p with a framerate cap of 30 FPS. We focused on speed,
so on Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro that cap is raised to 60 FPS, and the
game runs at 1080p on both platforms. PC users can run at any resolution their
system supports, complete with uncapped framerates.

We can’t wait to
see you in the wastelands of RAGE 2 when the game launches globally on May 14!"

Yea Rage 2 has been on my radar since the reveal trailer. I'm going to wait for reviews but I'll likely pick it up.

I think reviews for Rage 2 have been generally positive--I've read a number of 8/10 reviews. I didn't pre-order, but I've been keeping an eye on it, and it looks like something I'd enjoy. I'll grab it the first time I see it on a Steam sale. (GMG has it at a small discount, but resellers all have the Bethesda Launcher version. I'd rather get the Steam version, which includes features like cloud saves, which the Bethesda Launcher doesn't have. I'm also not sure if the BL version has Achievements, which the Steam version does have.)
