Brightness adjust?

So...I bought a mobile phone for £50 about 5 years ago and I could change the brightness of the screen...

Seems the £500 vr headset I just bought is missing that feature. For shame. Smh

    That bothers me too. On the Oculus-Go I can adjust the brightness, so why not on the Quest? Especcaliy when you read text on websites with white background it's tiring for the eyes.

    I can't post links, but if you look for connecting bluetooth ear phones to the quest, some of the guides use sideloading the Settings_1.0.apk.
    This enabled me to access the brightness settings.
    My eyes are now much happier.
