My touch controllers no longer vibrate in Beat Saber

I just changed out the batteries on my controllers, and as of the first use through Beat Saber I either get no vibration at all or a feeble single bump about 4 seconds after it should have happened. I am very concerned that there is something wrong with the internals of the controller. I havent dropped them or anything rough at all, so I feel it has something to do with changing the battery. Has anyone else had this problem, and/or does anyone know how to fix it? Please?

EDIT: I have found a solution that worked for me: I switched which USB port my headset was plugged in to. Maybe it was a bandwidth problem, maybe just bad port drivers, who knows. But switching USB ports fixed it.

Yeah it only happens in beat saber so far. Other games seem to work fine.

Then you should probably change your post title to ........

I've been experiencing this since transferring my Rift onto a new PC. Single blocks in Beat Saber give very weak feedback. Hitting two blocks at the same time gives some feedback half a second after hitting them. Touching both sabers together doesn't produce a constant buzz like it used to. Putting one saber into a wall doesn't give any feedback, putting both in gives a period of feedback about half a second later.

Had a similar problem on my old PC following a Windows reinstall, but it went away for no apparent reason.

Other games play fine, though I notice in VRChat when dropping an object with one hand near my other hand, both controllers will give feedback after (again) half a second or so.

OP here, I solved this problem by switching which USB ports everything was plugged in to. Primarily the headset USB. I've heard this might not work for some people. Give it a shot.

I had the same problem. Try repairing the touch controllers, it worked for me 🙂
