This is why god invented Voice Attack

Not really suitable for my household. Adults and kids going in and out. Lots of talking all the time. Hell, trying to use Alexa for basic stuff is sometimes annoying. Voice commands for extended periods of time work best when you're more isolated. My VR room is an open space in the first floor of my home. Too much activity!

And THIS is why god invented divorce and giving custody of the kids to your soon-to-be ex-wife!  B)

I actually enjoy the noise and the chaos. I even gave up my VR Room and brought in a TV and other computers so that everyone can co-exist with the gaming and entertainment. Trust me, when you meet the right woman and start a family, you'll learn to love the chaos too! Also, stalking women on forums doesn't count as marriage, and VR Porn doesn't count as a relationship. Pro tip!

I will wait and see with this, it was a massive snooze feast in normal 2d view so i will wait to see if that changes in VR, will it be up to the level of Elite or surpass, or will it be just as yawn inducing in VR........we shall know in a few weeks.

I am actually more interested to see how this looks and runs on the PS4 pro, because if it works on that system then it might lead to Elite D appearing on it to, as i like to jump between PCVR and PSVR these days, one for roomscale and one for recliner vr. lol

I actually found Elite Dangerous to be yawn inducing, so I'm hoping it's much better then that.

I've more or less given up on finding out how all the buttons work - maybe in another life, sigh - or when they add support for Touch or Knuckles.

When I first started playing ED it was on the Rift - and yes, I used the Touch controllers 🙂

I used Touch for a day, then went to Argos and bought a HOTAS X...

But Touch isn't officially supported - so you used a special program to get Touch working and tried to remap controls? - It still may be a challenge to map the 178 different keys and combos to Touch 😉 I play in the dark using the CV1, I can't see my keyboard (I don't have backlit keys using diNovo Edge, not gonna throw that keyboard away).

No, I wasn't that bright...
I just tried using the controllers and they 'worked' but it was stupidly impossible 🙂  The hotas 'just worked' and made life a lot better, some re-binding learned to make it work better, then more pennies spent on an XS52 Pro - which must be the last of the madcatz build as it is poo...   X56 Pro may be incoming soon!

I mean't from a tech point, i knew the base PS4 was holding back ED appearing but a option for Pro owners to play it in VR would have been nice, just like they offer 4k CB enhanced version on the Pro.....yes i want my cake and eat it, i have NMS on the PS4 and i hit about 10 hours before the grind for materials become a bore, so until i try it i don't really know if that aspect is going to change in vr......which of course is weird because ED is just a different type of grind yet i don't know what it was with NMS that had me becoming bored with it so quickly because i am like a moth to a flame when it comes to repedative type gaming mechanices, tell me to find and collect 1000 orbs or powerup and i will happily do so for years. lol

Sony won't allow that. Unless they have change stance any game or game feature on the pro has to work on the vanilla machine. I do believe the pro could run  a (cut down) VR elite but knowing the calculations needed to generate planet surfaces as well as the strain it puts on mid range pcs I don't see the vanilla consoles doing it. Please FD prove me wrong 😉

Yeah, we might get it with the next PS if we are lucky, i only want this in VR on console so i can jump from the PC to the comfy chair o console as i am doing at this time with skyrim vr, i stand and play as a sneaky bow mage on the PC version, and a run in swinging water breather on the PSVR version relaxed in  my comfy recliner........so i would be quite happy if sony ditched all those basic ps4 owners in a heartbeat. lol

I don't think we'll need it. The game is designed from the ground up for gamepad controls.

Doesn’t voice attack work with anything that has key alternatives?

The supported HCS voice pack games from what I know are ,elite Dangerous , star citizens , and x4 foundations however if no man's sky takes off in VR and enough people request it I bet they would release some voice packs ,this is there contact info. I have found them good to dealcwith. As for voice attack yes you can programme any key bindings you like with it  info@theqnn.com
