This time a nice review by an adult who actually played the game 😉

Asgard's Wrath is awesome - but Hellsplit is still the King of VR sword fighting in my mind - here's a boss fight:

Looks nice, but damn there are some major stutter/lag going on when he gets close to the enemies.. :hushed:

Another review of maybe the best VR fighting game - I like the fighting better in Hellsplit than in Asgard's Wrath and Until You Fall:

Aren't there any character shadows in Blade & Sorcery?!
Maybe the surroundings are much bigger, but Blade & Sorcery nearly looks like a Quest game compared to the awesome lightning and character shadows in HellSplit? 😉 Note that I have not yet tried Blade & Sorcery - would love to be wrong about the character shadows.

Seems like HellSplit: Arena is selling quite well on Steam. SteamSpy says 100,000 - 200,000 own the game, and PlayTracker says 140,000. So congrats to the devs - and it truly is an awesome game!
This game is 20% off on Steam until January 5 - get it here:

HellSplit has been massively updated in recent months - it's close to my favorite VR sword-fighting games of all. Just took a few screenshots:
Graphics are awesome - opponents have realtime shadows and check out the ground textures and view distance - this is high-end VR at the finest
Horse riding never was more fun!
Full finger-tracking is supported - if you have Index controllers. Skin textures look great
Some ghoul or whatever that thing is
Close-up - some opponents are quite ... disturbing ...
The surroundings look astonishingly good - devs paid much attention to everything

The new giant v. 1.17 update looks absolutely astonishing:

Also looks like Pinocchio is turning into a real boy - not that the game was bad before, but it's starting to look really amazing - some screenshots:
