Uninstalled again and made sure everything was cleaned out.
Now it crashed to desktop right after loading whilst Liv was first talking . Again it asked me to submit the report including my name and email address - not sure why they offer that option as this is obviously a one way communication street.

I tell ya I think I need a throwing in the towel emoji, just tired of messing with this for so long.

All my other VR games run perfectly, some way more demanding than this one. I know my case is unusual, but I am convinced there is nothing on my end that can solve it. I am normally very good at trouble shooting having built PC's for well over 20+ years, this one is nuts.

I have attached copy of r14 Log File from this attempt. It is all Greek to me but maybe someone might see something that gives a clue.

I understand your frustration, its good that you have systems/computer experience and know terms, procedures and debugging. The problem could be any number of things, a problematic graphics driver, VS C libs out of date, directory permissions, disk space, ... or any of a number of other things. I see four things but I don't know what they mean. Since you've done a few reinstalls it doesn't feel like that is the problem

1) Failure of C:\Users\Don\AppData\Local\Oculus/*.json.   Not sure why  this is happening, but at least it does fail to a default.

2) No r14 size specified for gamespace. I dont think this is serious, I have them in my log files.

3) Failure to find script binding. This feels like it would be serious.

4) There are six sets of these errors, each set having 2 occurrences of "invalid channel ID"

I'll continue googling errors and comparing with my logs. I hope that the RAD folks give you a pingback.

Thanks much for the feedback @sford52 .
All my drivers - motherboard, usb, gfx, audio are up to date and as I mentioned I have several other Oculus and other VR games that run quite well without a glitch. Also my Windows 10 version 1903 is up to date.
I have tried running Lone Echo with just about every combination of graphics settings that I can think of.
A real head scratcher.

Hello i have the same crash with a 2080ti and a 9900k perhaps it's related to rtx model of graphic card... Like you all my vr game works perfect... And like you said there is NO SUPPORT from the developper at all... It's a shame, the game is great but crashing all the times finish to kill me... Also another bug to notice if you move lone echo directory via oculus you will loose all your saves....

I gave up and uninstalled for the final time.
Lone Echo was a complete waste to me.
Developers apparently do not give a rats ass either.
I certainly will not be purchasing any more from them.
I have many other games, and they all work fantastic.

I am having the same crash problems as you all here. Plus, I bought this game yesterday and oculus won’t refund. What a joke.  Only game crashing.

tried everything mentioned here and nothing seems to resolve the crash.

i got ripped off and being a new commet to VR for only 4 days now, this gives a VERY sour taste in my mouth...

But you did spend more than 2 hours using the game?

Posted in your other thread, but yeah never could get it to run on my end and there is no support from anyone on it.
I have too many other great games I enjoy without any issue whatsoever to worry about Lone Echo so it is permanently uninstalled. Keep pleading your case with Oculus , maybe they will lend you a hand no longer than you have had it.
