Request For External Base Station / Sensor Support

The
Rift S should support add-on base station / external tracking.

I
run into issues with controller drift and close to the body and outside the
range of the headset tracking.  These are issues I only found when moving
to Rift S from CV1, an easy fix for this would be some type of external
tracking add-on for the people that need it.

Maybe
if enough people request, we can get this done.

not going to happen, you'd need new hardware and in a time where oculus is eliminating as much hardware as possible theres no chance they'l go back on it

Yeah I messaged John Carmack on Twitter about this a while ago and he said "better to hope for improvements to Insite tracking instead". Those were his words.

I've given up hope for Rift S now. It is what it is.

Let's just hope Oculus/Facebook make up for it with Rift CV2 and let's hope CV2 goes back to proper tracking with Constellation.

Ignoring the problem is not a solution..

However that has been running for 5 months and has 186 votes, but Oculus haven't changed their plans so far.
