Guys it's finally here!!! read reddit post for full details

Offical info here from Nvidia: - Scroll half way down page. This can explain it all better then I can.

RuneSR2 where are you??? Rune is going to go crazy with this...

I can just picture it now...RuneSR2 playing Index with 144hz 200% steam supersampling and now Nvida's new VRSS!! LOL  😛

I wondered why my drivers updated yesterday! I've just installed windows 10 again on a new M.2 mvne drive too so looking forward to trying this VRSS tonight with my Rift S + Boneworks.  😄

It will be interesting to see if VRSS makes a RTX2060 perform way better in VR than say a GTX1070/1080 does in VR without it.

This does look interesting:

CES Game Ready Driver Introduces New Gaming Features Support For Wolfenstein Youngblood Ray Tracing New G-SYNC Compatible displays and More
Tested on GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, Intel Core i7-6700K, 32GB, Windows 10, HTC Vive Pro, CES 2020 Game Ready Driver

I usually get solid 90 fps Index res 200% in Boneworks 2xMSAA, so I think Nvidia found a particularly gpu-bound location for the above test results that does not represent normal game performance. Boneworks performs like a dream on my rig - I'd never upgrade my GTX 1080 for that game.

But Asgard's Wrath or Stormland, now we're talking 😉

Pancake Quake 2 RTX does look kinda fun, although not sure I like the gameplay better now when I didn't like it that much back then

I'm not sure I fully understand this VRSS. Do you still need to set Pixel Density (Super Sampling) if you switch this on or use adaptive mode? Also - Why does it say 4x VRSS in one of the pics post here? The only option I see in Nvidia Control Panel are "on" or  "adaptive" mode in the Nvidia Control Panel.

Does anyone know if you are you also able to use the frame rate limiter setting in VR?

Not to me to doesn't, but I wasn't the brightest spark at school. I don't know if it's there to stop use using pixel density for a start.

Edit: Yes, it is making a bit more sense to me now. Basically no need to use Pixel Density with it set to adaptive and switching it on is 8 x Super Sampling.

i own battle wake, la noire, robo recall , fps vr is stuck on oculus home and do not show up with  battlewake, LA noire won't launch ( not a problem related to vrss but same problem as the guy who let a message on steam) then robo recall, wich i shall use  with revive, but  I don't know why it vanished from my revive library. can't test that thing if that makes anything better or not

^^I have the very same issues with LA Noire and according to some it has been caused by the drm license expiring and RS never bothereing to fix it, so tons are stuck with a game they can no longer play or refund. 😞
