I think this could have competed well with the HP Reverb and I for one am pretty pished off it's being shelved. I'm still hoping HP will improve upon the HP Reverb with added camera's and a better cable. I was looking at this acer VR headset to replace my HP Reverb, but VR is just becoming one big nightmare after another with all these crappy announcements.
Can we have some good news for VR to lighten the way soon? 😄
@RuneSR2 - 2k per eye on a Geforce 1080ti and 2080ti is fine.
Oculus Rift CV1, Valve Index & PSVR2, Asus Strix OC RTX™ 3090, i9-10900K (5.3Ghz), 32GB 3200MHz, 16TB SSD

Actually, it's a good thing. A new-born market does not need to be fractured between so many competitors, especially when so many of them are just dipping their toes into it. In fact, it only hurt the market, because all those people who supported the bad competitors just threw money out in the void.
The only ones who are serious about VR are Oculus, HTC and Valve. Anyone else can just get out of the fight.

Have you tried reviving Stormland? 😉
