Quest and MSI Z370 PC PRO - USB type C issue

I'm on a Z370 PC PRO Mainboard and just received one of the USB Cables that are Oculus Link "compatible" 
The Strange thing is that my USB Type C Port is working fine with any other device I plug in. Only the Quest won't connect. I previously noticed this with the included cable but didn't investigate any further and just used an USB Type A to Type C Cable.

Does anybody use this Mainboard or have issues with type C to type C cables??

    I wasn't able to find a solution. The only thing that I found out, is that overclocking the CPU is causing all the USB ports to act strange and even the USB 2.0 ports aren't working correctly. I'm now using a USB A to C cable (from cabletex 3meter). The only port that works with oculus link is the top left USB 3 port on the back.
