Oculus link Usb connection test

Hi,
i just got my oculus quest today. I´ve bought a 3 m usb c 3.1 gen 2 10 gb/s cable and connected the quest to the usb c 3.1 gen 2 port of my alienware 13R3. The connection test of the oculus software says that the headset is connected to usb 3 with 2 Gb/s. Same when i connect the cable to my nvidea rtx2080 usb c 3.1 port in my egpu.
So here is my question, is this normal?
Thanks in advance.

I get 1.9Gbps connected to either my USB C 3.1 Gen 2 with the official cable or a third party passive extension and USB A to C cable connected to my USB A 3.1 Gen 1 ports.
I also have a short 1m USB C 3.1 Gen 2 cable and also get 1.9Gbps with that.

okay so it seems 2 Gb/s is the actual limit of oculus link. Thank you for your replies.
