I think I just spilled my hot coffee :# If possible, could you elaborate on that?

.....I very much doubt Oculus are going to be putting anymore money into PC -VR after what's already in the works like Lone Echo 2. So we have to ask who is going to be making PC -VR games from the ground up and not just using bolt on VR? The big dev houses don't seem interested apart from just adding bolt on VR to Sims and one or two of them adding VR to their cockpit games, like EA did for Star Wars Squadrons.
I think we have to get used to seeing a lot of bad content made for PC -VR with just a few gems here and there once Oculus stops paying devs to produce PC -VR games. At-least Quest 2 owners will be happy with their mobile VR games though.

I seriously believe we will be getting a Quest-3 reveal next-year - attempts to take the wind out of Sony PSVR2's sails will be essential to hope to achieve any of Facebooks goals before full MR.

Facebook will find it hard competing with Sony if they make anything thing like a good VR headset next time around. The first Sony VR headset wasn't that great, but still sold millions. Can you imagine what Sony will sell if their next VR headset is something close to a HP -G2. One of my predictions is that the next Sony VR headset will crap all over the competition. The reason for that is they will produce great non Mobile VR games and plenty of people will already own a PlayStation 5 to play their higher quality VR games.

Agreed, even though PS5 may be equivalent to GTX 1080 in gpu power, careful optimizations may get like 50% more out of that gpu compared to GTX 1080. Would be way beyond anything the XR2 can do - and you might need PCVR with RTX 3060 or 2080 Super for similar PCVR performance. - thus might be a no-brainer for adoption, if the hmd and controllers are great.
