Bummer. Sorry it didn't work for you. The only other things I've done
are set my refresh rate to 72hz and everything good in the graphics
settings are set to Low or Off unfortunately. I may try turning some of
them back on, but when I did that for MS...

The GTX 1050 non TI will not work with the cable as Oculus Home software
says that card is not supported. You could try running Virtual Desktop
combined with Revive Dashboard and see if that works to run games
wirelessly. It did for me until I decide...
