Got my Rift in last night and during setup, the wireless adapter refused
to work. Tried multiple USB ports, with and without the extension cable
nothing. Device Manager showed the device but said no drivers were
installed for it. Went searching the '...
Wondering if I am doing something wrong here. Just got the Rift, updated
to the latest firmware and setup my IPD and jumped into Elite Dangerous.
I immediately notice if I look anywhere but dead center I can easily
make out the red green blue subpixe...
Just curious what it would take to output an image to Oculus that
wouldn't be 3D. I got this idea in my head of mounting a camera to an RC
aircraft and having the image pumped back to the ground into a Rift
headset and the tracking of the camera bein...
Thought I would drop in and say it looks like the next batch they
shipped out was a pretty big chunk compared to the first. I ordered
March 20, 9:37PM and received my shipping confirmation this morning.
Tracking information says its coming from Ontar...
It's become a common VR design, adding something in the player's view
creating a reference point reduces motion sickness. A genuine VR FPS
doesn't really need to do this as long as the developers match player
movement with real life movement speeds.
