I believe the 360 Photo API is not exposed or is not integrated into
Unity. If that is true and I believe it is I will bet Oculus and Unity
are working to resolve this.As a side note Unity 5 will support 8192 x
8192 textures but it is bound by the GP...
Honestly I know Oculus works fine on desktop... but for demoing VR it's
lots easier lugging around a laptop than it is a desktop for demos of
your title. Ergo why the interest in the 980m performance level.
Think I have it figured out... unless I am wrong when you add in the OVR
character controller that triggers the Oculus checkbox to show up in
preferences.
