I spent a month with Oculus support getting a replacement cable, but it
does not seem to fix the issue. I am still getting an error on the
sensor setup step.logs: http://pastebin.com/yHKK5y7f@cybereality please
help me, I'm going insane
Their last reply to my broken cable was that they needed time to
"investigate" the situation, even though I've provided my logs and I'm
certain it's a broken cable, not a software issue. Looks like my Rift
and Touch are going to sit as paperweight - ...
The trial and error debugging sucks... I absolutely won't be
recommending Oculus to my friends because support doesn't take the time
to offer solutions (besides the obvious unplug).
The USB port is working with any other device I plug in - keyboard,
mouse etc. It's only the sensors that are broken. Could this be a
software issue and if so how can I fix it?
I have tried disabling power saving mode on the usb, updating the
drivers, reinstalling them, plugging it in while computer turned off
with no success.
