Smooth Turning on Gamepad is defaulted to off.. you need to find it in the options to turn it on.. AFTER turning on game-pad, despite the fact that you can interchange between the two mid-game (it's really wierdly set up).
I'm fairly sure tha…
You can currently do this by binding 2 keys to turn_left and turn_right in doom's console (~) and then redirecting those inputs. Though getting control of the actual analog sticks would have been nice (probably would translate a lot better than…
Yes, though I don't know if you can bind Touch controls to Xbox controller.
You definitely can bind them to mouse/keyboard though .. so if the game you want to play supports playing from mouse and/or keyboard then you can do exactly what you …
Yea, it is an older game and a port from Flat to VR.. so much of the Textures weren't designed to be looked at "too closely". I don't find it that bad though .. you lose half the detail in resolution/SDE anyway.
It depends what difficulty you are playing on, and whether or not you are playing an event.
The arcade/realistic maps draw from a larger pool of maps which have more "exciting" and "fun" aesthetics (winding caverns, multiple islands, canyon ru…
I never had any problems with delays, shipping has always been pretty good from them, even when I had to RMA (for the same problem as OP).
It is a bit of a shame there are no public retailers selling Oculus here though. It's embarassing to say…
That does suck. I recommend to just purchase directly from Oculus website if you are from Australia, they ship directly.
As for your Right-Side audio problem (which is startlingly common).. you might want to check out this thread, there are a coupl…
There are some niche uses for it. Basically if for any reason you want to be able to use the features of the keyboard directly from your Touch controllers you can.
Some examples of usefulness:
Enabling smooth turning in DoomVFR (due to how Do…
SAO is a money-making IP, whoever owns it is not very likely to take the necessary risk in investment to make anything out of it that does it justice. Trust me, it sounds cool, but if it ever gets made it would be really lackluster.
Interesting.. however I feel like this would yield some mixed/unreliable results though.. if the cable is snapped, you are probably just holding it in a place where the snapped cable is still touching.
However that would mean that it could p…
Hey man, if it solves that problem without losing tracking fidelity .. I'm on board. I just don't see that happening any time soon.
IMO, both free-range outside FOV tracking and 360 degree tracking should be the minimum acceptable for VR (BUY …
Usually when this happens you can grab and pull yourself out of the top and it will let you go free (even if you never pulled the lever). I don't think I've ever seen one where it actually soft-locks you unless you pull the lever.
I'm assuming by "Jet pack / hand thruster" you mean the small red device that pulls you faster than a Fury Transport?
We call that the "Vomit comet".
Really impressive ... though it looks like the capture for the mouth movements has the lower lip and corners of the mouth a little too wide/low. Other than that its near perfect. That one small problem is giving me serious uncanny valley vibes thoug…
Yea, one of the games I play heavily has had numerous complaints from people with WMR claiming that the WMR "support is terrible".
The problem is that the way the game plays.. you could play it poorly or mediocre at best without the need to r…
1000% Agree with op.
Front facing FOV tracking is ... mind bogglingly stupid. I have no idea why they thought this was a good idea..
Most of my favorite games are unplayable with that setup. Please don't let this become the standard ...
Wow .. uhh no..
Firstly SC has been consistently making progress. Each phase of the games release so far has made leaps and bounds of features added. I mean you knew how big a game it was supposed to be from the beginning, how long did you th…
I know what you're saying, but I'm pretty sure that's not what he's talking about.
He's complaining about them being in his Library .. not even CCleaner will be able to remove them from his Oculus Home store account.
If you uninstall them they are uninstalled. Them being in your library does not mean they are installed on your computer, it means they are on your account. If they are on your account but not installed on your computer they use up 0 space and are o…
