I had this same issue on setup. I plugged my usb cable into a powered usb hub and the issue went away like magic. Thinking its the cameras drawing more power then what the cv1 used.

I am on a laptop. I had the black screen on setup but it went away using a powered usb hub. Like I said in other topics I think its due to the extra drain on the usb cards from the cameras

Try using a powered usb hub it just fixed my black screen issue I had during setup ( latterly 5 mins ago I came here to pass the info down) and let me see the cameras. I think some of our USB cards aren't pushing out enough juice to power the heads…

Screw it im gonna order the S off Amazon if anything it’lll be alot easier to pack and setup on Deployments like the one in a few weeks. I’ll keep my CV1 setup in the backroom for true roomscale.
