yeah you have to install it, there will be a button in the app.
open the app go through the store, there will be an install button. or go to the library and check the star trek for update.

If you did, then all you need to do is use the phone APP, with the quest 2 on pull up the settings in the phone app and click enable.
Do you have an ubisoft connect account?
You still need to log in from the launcher, on your computer.
Also are you logged in the oculus pc app on the right account?
yeah you you need to install the ubi soft launcher, i think that is automatic when you install star trek. but you need to "purchase" the dlc. Its a free cost title.

try cleaning lenses of the cameras, and a factory reset as a worse case.
are you getting the prompts when you put on your headset?
when you plug into link look in the headset
it should ask if want connect to device as storage
click deny
it should ask if you want enable link
click enable.
