try reinstalling the game. make sure u have graphics on low when you start out cause that can cause some issues. what kind of hardware are you using? Does it meet minimum requirements for ram and graphics? Hope you can figure it out.

I currently have 4 sensors however I did not connect my 4th yet. Ive got my two front facing sensors,and I mounted the third rear sensor in an inverted position hanging from the ceiling.
Update: Not a crash since changing the size of the page file. It would seem that this could've been the answer problem, however it may not work for all.

I got past the airlock point yall are talking about by lowering my settings to medium. However, the grass isn't too much greener on the other side the game will continue to crash hard at various points outside the ship. Disappointing.
