I have the Z170-A and the Inateck card and I do not have these problems. I had USB disconnects and poor tracking quality previous to changing the USB power management settings, which are widely reported and explained in other threads and on reddit.

Anyone who is getting the height glitch should check their error log for the "sensor moved" warning. Submit these logs to Oculus if you are getting them. I am!
Thanks @Dragonfrost I've tried everything on that list, including XMP, but not disabling the Asmedia. I had this problem for weeks before I even had my current motherboard with Asmedia. I'll give it a try, but it's likely not the issue.
@Some0ne Find the most recent .txt file in your directory here: C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Oculus
Do a ctrl-F and search for "Sensor moved" or "warning". If you find any warnings about the sensor, I recommend opening a ticket with Ocu…
@some0ne Thanks for your comments. Have you checked your error logs for Sensor moved or other errors? It would help the Oculus engineers if you submitted your logs to them so that they can nail this issue down. Thanks!
@coderzero @TickTock Same here. My sensors are upside-down on the ceiling. I have never gotten a height (Z) error but I get very frequent translation/rotation XY shifts. I get the "Timed out waiting for camera" followed by "Sensor moved" warnings fo…
@snowdog If you haven't yet, it's worth gathering your error logs, seeing if you have the "Sensor Moved" error in them (ctrl-F in notepad), and submitting them to Oculus, noting that you have shifting guardian system and the "Sensor Moved" error.
3 sensor inateck z170 mobo user here with this issue. Everyone should check their error logs and see if they get the "Sensor moved" error. I do, and so do many others.
Sharing my error log here for the Sensor Moved events. 3 sensors. I have tried every possible combination of USB ports on my motherboard, inateck card, and front panel. Get lots of tracking jumps in game. Hope the log helps.
@snowdog Interesting fix. I'll give it a try. I've had the Inateck card from day 1. It shifts during gameplay, not just at the beginning, but quite frequently for the whole experience. Let me know how it turns out for you!
This is still a big issue. I am getting the Sensor Moved error quite frequently along with a perspective/guardian system shift in game. It is a quite sudden jump in position. In Medium, this results in a dramatic swerve of clay in a direction I did …
