Okay, I did figure out the problem.
It has nothing to do with anti-virus. (Disable it just in case though, up to you.)

For me now Rift is just broken. Period. I've reinstalled everything, ordered a DVI adapter (Which fixed it for the most part), installed that patch the other day... NOW Rift just doesn't want to work if I play a game longer than 10 minutes or less.

I changed the port it was plugged into (From 3.0 to a 2.0) again, it seemed to just.. work this time for some odd reason.
So far my experiences with Oculus.. lots of bugs. :/

I so far managed to fix it actually, for me it was a matter of fixing something in the registry regarding the services for Oculus.
