We're working on future releases and patches, and since our coders are pretty busy to other stuff, i'd like to ask if someone wants to adapt the freespace source code to the oculus rift. Sadly this game is OpenGl,and AFAIK there's nothing like Vireio perception that works with Opengl.

I'm a long time Freespace and BSG fan, and as such I absolutely LOVE your mod! It plays very well with the X52.
I'd love to help, but I have to admit I'm far from skilled when it comes to large C++ projects like this. I'll have to knock the rust off of my C++ chops, I do mostly low level stuff and a little C# these days (I'm a hardware/firmware monkey by trade).
My DK2 should be here on Wednesday, and I just downloaded the FS2 open source and the DK2 SDK. I will be tinkering around with them in coming weeks. Do you guys have any other developers working on this that could give a few pointers as to where to get started? I'll make a username on your forums and post and intro thread there as well 🙂
