I need some help rendering for the oculus. I'm making some digital animations and I was wondering how I should go about setting up my cameras. I've never shot any film for the oculus but I assume that the two processes should be similar.

Usually what people do is render 2 cameras for either standard stereo, or render in a panoramic format. In either case, you would not play the video directly on the headset. You would need to use a VR video player to load the video into, and this will give you head-tracking so it's comfortable to the user.
