Unable to build Oculus Spatializer with WwiseUnityIntegration_v2016.1.3_Windows_Src

I've been following the instructions here:

https://developer3.oculus.com/documentation/audiosdk/latest/concepts/osp-wwise-unity-install/

but it looks like they refer to an old version of the Wwise Unity Integration? Specifically this function call mentioned on step 5 of this guide:

AK::SoundEngine::RegisterAllBuiltInPlugins()

is nowhere to be found in the Wwise Unity Integration source project.

Are there any up to date instructions on how to do this anywhere?

Many thanks

Hi,

You don't need to rebuild the Wwise 2016 integration to use our plugin. Just drop the dll into the DSP folder in the Wwise Deployment location (for relevant 32/64 bit platform) of your Unity project.

Sorry for the confusion, we're working on updating our docs with this info.

Cheers,
Dave

I can confirm this though you guys should really explain this in your documentation. I just spent a ton of time trying to figure out how to do it the old way.

One more bump to encourage updating the docs ASAP. I, too, spent an unnecessary amount of time adding the Spatializer plugin.

We updated the docs a while back, sorry for not following up sooner. Please let us know if the information is still unclear.

Cheers,
