GearVR Controller swap hands in game?

Quick question. I am writing something for the GearVR with hand controller with Unity and I don't want to force the user come out to the main dashboard to switch hands. I want to quickly say on my game start (start left handed or start right handed). How do I switch the controller between left handed and right handed properly in code?
I can see from the setup that I have the TrackedRemote options and one is set to Controller = LTrackedRemote and the other is RTrackedRemote.
But I don't know how to swap the current active while in game. It seems I have to come right out to the Oculus dashboard to switch it globally.
Knowing the quick turnaround I will need to have with people using the game I don't want them to have to come out to keep changing the left to right handed versions.
