Is there any way to tell which release channel an instance of an app is on at runtime?

For bug reporting purposes I'd like to know which release channel my app is on when I catch an exception. Right now we are promoting builds to the different channels and I'd like to try to keep doing that rather than making separate builds for each channel which is currently the only way I can think of solving the problem.
