Dedicated Server session - GetCurrentPlayers returns 1 when no players attached. Counts the server?

I just set up a dedicated server w/ UE4.25.  When I find the match, the 'GetCurrentPlayers' node lists 1 player even though no one is in the game.  It is just the server.
  Does the server count as a player?  In order to accurately display how many players are in the game, how can you tell whether the 'current players' actually includes real players or is also listing a non-player server?
