Unity's Doppler effect not working with ONSP plugin

With "Doppler Level" set to any value above zero on an AudioSource, there is no Doppler effect while the object is moving if an ONSPAudioSource script is also enabled on the GameObject. If you un-check "Enable Spatialization", the Doppler effect then works as normal.

Assuming I'm not just doing something wrong, is this likely to change in an upcoming release? It used to be possible to use the non-Native OSP plugin and a Doppler effect together without problems. Thanks.

    Hi there,

    Just checked Doppler Level with spatialization on and you are correct, it does not get applied. This may have something to do with the fact that spatialization plug-ins completely override the 3D Sound settings and therefore the pitch values from doppler does not get applied to the sound.

    I will reach out to Unity to confirm and update here.

    Any updates on this? It's still not working in Unity 5.3.4p5 and 5.4.0b16.

    I reached out to Unity today and was told that there will be a fix for this soon. It will be in a later 5.4 release as well as being back-ported into 5.3

    Problem remains in Unity 5.4.0b18, by the way. Edit: And 5.4.0b19.
