Sorry for the necro, I'd like to know how things are going along for OpenXR support as well, as it seems we're close to having an OpenXR build of Dolphin, which I would really enjoy testing out and playing with.
If it's about trying to prevent an update from happening, you can use something like Process Explorer, find OVRLibraryService and suspend it.
Oculus won't restart it, and it won't download anything.
Keep in mind this means it won't…
Also, might I inquire about what XRStreaming is?
Is everything going through my sensors being sent somewhere? Is that why Dash has a fatal error if no online is found?
This wasn't under OVRServer before.
I'm having tracking issues on my Oculus CV1.
The only thing that has updated is my Oculus.
This was not an issue three updates ago.
When playing GZDoomVR, the right trigger will press itself on its own out of nowhere.
When in Dash, I'll be typing …
Wow, uuuuuh, guys
Logging in is like, so simple.
You literally just go to a different website, log into that different website, and then you return to the original website which is not the different website and you sign into the original website t…
See, by your logic, I have the right to be entitled to be entitled because he/she posted like an azz hole in the first place.
This means we are both Schrodginger's assholes, for we are both assholes and not assholes at the same time
This isn't an issue simply repairing fixes.
I've tried multiple times on 1.34, and the issue never went away.
Update to 1.35 during PTC
Update to public version, back to running like molasses and using 23% CPU, when it used 6% bef…
Well I could certainly attempt to test, if the previous version of Dash would actually launch. I don't see why it wouldn't, it's almost identical... Except it runs well.
Looks to me like some changes were made right after the last PTC without being…
Alright then, thought I'd let you know Dash is back to acting really oddly. I'm seeing if overwriting this version with the PTC one fixes anything. If it does, we know it's not because I need to reinstall.
Dash's stuttering issues are entirely gone, and it's back to running at 6% CPU!
Still uses 1 gig of RAM at start, but then goes down to 880 megs. Much more acceptable than before.
In fact, it is downright usable, I'm actually happy to have it load…
This is the site to vote on feedback.
It wasn't linked anywhere obvious, so I'm linking it here.
I'm starting to wonder if it isn't FaceBook's web developers who are working on Dash, and on whatever portion of the software was downclocking?
I'm hoping this won't become the Windows 10 October Update of Rift
Ah, wait, is it just Home downclock…
You guys say you run it through SteamVR?
Have you perhaps tried using OpenComposite through SteamVR, as opposed to right through to Rift?
I've found this did a somewhat noticeable difference to playability in some scenarios like loading into chunks…
Please support the devs, make sure the keys you're getting aren't getting them in shit.
I've played OverLoad for over 88 hours at this point, and I only play it in VR.
I absolutely love it.
The reason it looks like a Descent clone is that it's bas…
Games still run fine, it's specifically Dash that behaves this way.
Updating drivers and redoing setup did not fix anything.
Neither did messing with its graphics settings.
There is most definitely an issue with it.
